At one of the recording sessions of Nigerian Idol on Sunday January 9, 2011, one of the Judges Yinka Davies got more attention than she expected as she came along with her two sons who before now had never been seen publicly.
The Popular Actress, Dancer, Performer and Singer strolled in with her sons Jeremiah, 18 and Nicholas, 16 who couldn’t hide the excitement of being in the studio for the live show.
Even the brilliant performers didn’t get as much attention, as the young boys who sat right behind the judges.
‘My Kids love Nigerian Idol and have always wanted an opportunity to see the show live, so I just thought, what’s wrong in bringing them out to see it, and that’s why we are here’, an excited Yinka tells NET.
Yinka Davies first hit limelight as Lagbaja’s lead singer in 1992, and performed numerous live shows with them and has since moved on to become one of the best female vocal talents on the African continent.
