Nigerian model, Osuemhe Ugonoh has emerged winner of the annual Miss Africa Ireland beauty pageant.
The 18-year-old student of Health Science & Nutrition, Athlone Institute of Technology, was announced winner at the final stage of the pageant held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
Ugonoh is the 13th queen since the pageant began.
She was closely followed by Zimbabwe’s Catriona Nyankabiri and Grace Might from Cameroon, who came second and third respectively. The pageant show is put together by Tina Tinuke Akinola-Jinad and is aimed to showcase and celebrate the unique fashion, beauty and diverse cultures of the African people in Ireland.
