
Emmanuel Ugolee, known on TV, newspapers and online as Emma Ugolee battled with kidney disease for about four years – and today he’s celebrating his sister, Shirley who donated one of her kidneys to him.
He described her as a selfless woman and his superhero. Ugolee shared a photo of them as kids and wrote:
‘In the year 1983 she had no idea that in 2012 she was going to risk her life to safe her brothers by giving up a kidney. The amazing story of the most selfless human I know. My sister Shirley. I love you mama. My angel. Super hero. ❤❤❤ .’

And also about being stylish, ‘Meanwhile I don forget who tell me say I too cross leg. Shey you see now say to blow guy dey my dna. I dey blow guy sleep sef. Dey there.’
When veteran producer and songwriter OJB Jezreel died early last year, Ugolee wrote on how he has lost at least three close associates to the same disease.
The media personality has also shared his struggle with the debilitating disease and has since led awareness campaigns against it.
