Anna Ebiere Banner, the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013 says she feels sad handing over to a new queen.
While speaking with our correspondent, a teary eyed Banner recounted her experience as the 2013 MBGN as a life changing one which has helped her become a better person.
‘I feel good and sad at the same time because I will be leaving a wonderful family, but it’s fine that I allow someone else an opportunity to do better than I have done. MBGN has really transformed me from a young girl that was actually naïve. Now I think, act, dress and speak like a lady’ she said.
Asked what she will miss the most about being the queen, she said, ‘I know I will miss them [Silverbird Group] so much and I feel sad because they are going to love someone else and not me’.
