The 32 contestants for the 25th edition of the Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) have made their way into camp where they will be prepped and groomed for the grand finale at the Best Western Home Ville Hotel Etete, GRA, Benin City Edo state on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

Majority of d contestants are from igbo,just don’t get why an igbo girl should be representing a state she is not from?
I actually wondered the same thing myself! I think a native of each state should represent her state.

I’ve known miss kwara from a distance, during a pageant I attended some years back. She is very intelligent, articulate, and absolutely pretty. This picture has done her no justice. She is the embodiment of beauty & brain…

If d organizers of dis pageant re tired or somefyn dey should just stop d event already, rather than insult our senses each year wiv dese excuse of a ‘beauty pageant’& so far, dis year is d worst yet! These are very regular/random girls, some of dem are outrightly ugly!! A beauty queen is supposed 2be an embodiment of beauty(in nd out)… Personally no gal here meets d requirement physically, its shameful, bcos Nigeria’s got some of d most beautiful gals in d world.
How come majority of the girls are Ibo girls? I don’t think this is right as I am already discouraged. The real citizens of a state should be meant to represent their state . I believe that this can still be corrected. Just my humble opinion.
