Every generation of Don Jazzy’s labels release an iconic project. With Mo’hits, it was their compilation album, ‘Mo’hit All Stars’, which had hit singles like Pere, Booty Call, and more. For Mavins Records, it’s their recently released album, ‘Chapter X’.
The 10-track album, which features all Mavin acts was produced by a range of producers, including Sevn, Jvxn, Andre Vibez, Don Jazzy, and Prestige.
‘Overloading’, which is the lead track off ‘Chapter X’, topped Apple music charts for weeks, with over 100 million streams worldwide, since it was released on May 13, 2022.
Six months later, on November 9, 2022, they released ‘Won Da Mo’, which has now become a viral song on Tiktok and peaked at the top 5 most listened songs across all platforms, with over six million streams worldwide in just three weeks.
Mavin Records is a Nigerian record label founded by record producer and recording artist Don Jazzy on May 8, 2012, with artistes like Tiwa Savage, Di’ja, Dr Sid, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, and more. The record label’s album, ‘Chapter X’, was released on December 2, 2022, and features newer acts like Ayra Starr, Rema, Crayon, Bayanni, Magixx, Boy Spyce, Ladipoe, and Johnny Drille.

On May 8, 2022, Mavin record celebrated its tenth anniversary, ten years of Don Jazzy and his team scouting and putting the limelight on young and upcoming acts across Nigeria.
