Manchester United and Dutch football manager, Louis van Gaal has revealed that his days are quite numbered as he considers his time at Old Trafford to be his last spell in football.
The 63 year old who became Manchester United’s coach in 2014, says age is not on his side any-more and would want to retire to being with family.
Speaking in a recent interview, the former Bayern Munich coach was quoted on Daily Mail saying: ‘I am old, this is my last job, for sure, I have to pay attention to my kids, my grandchildren and also to my wife, they deserve it, now I cannot pay that attention; I was not at the birthday of my grandson for example, and I don’t like it’.
Louis van Gaal started his coaching career in AZ as an assistant manager in 1986 before becoming a full time coach in 1991 till date, has coached top football clubs, which include Ajax Barcelona, Bayern Munich among other with several trophies to show for his very successful career.
