The 56-year old Material Girl posted some images of some legendary leaders on Twitter, and Photoshopped black rope onto their faces similar to her Rebel Heart album cover.
The first is that of late reggae legend, Bob Marley, captioning the picture of him with black rope around his face: ‘This #rebelheart sang about ONE LOVE!’
She posted another picture, this time, of the late South African anti-apartheid leader, writing, ‘This #rebelheart fought for freedom!’
Some of her followers thought it was rude and insensitive of her to have done that. The album which is yet to be released has been hit hard recently as a leak forced her to release six of the songs ahead of schedule.
