Chocolate City rappers, M.I Abaga and Ice Prince Zamani are currently in the mood of mourning having lost a person they consider a friend and brother to the cold hands of death.
The rappers are bereaved following the death of their childhood friend and Jos-based comedian, Longji Joseph better known as MC Longs, who died on Friday, November 14, 2014 after a week-long battle from injuries sustained in a ghastly motor accident.
The talented comedian and father of two was said to have been involved in an auto crash on November 6, 2014 around Barkin Ladi Local Government area of Plateau State while he was on a journey.
Since the unpleasant incident, MC Longs had since been at the hospital on life support suffering from multiple fractures before he was declared late yesterday.
Mourning the late entertainer, rapper M.I took to Twitter today to write: ‘They say that even after a star dies. Its light will shine bright for years for us on earth. I know that this is the case my dear brother. Your kindness, passion, hard work and talent will live on forever. Rest In Peace MC Longs.’
Around the same time, Ice Prince also wrote on his timeline, writing: ‘Got up to the sad news that the bro left us to rest in higher places. Rest in peace brother’.
Until his death, Mc Longs was one the biggest and most influential comedians in the creative enclave of Jos and the rest of the geo political zone a whole.
