Lorde wants Kim Kardashian West to adopt her because she’s ‘so epic.’
The ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ hitmaker insists she wasn’t suggesting the reality TV star, who has 16-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West, was setting a bad example for her daughter when she tweeted an image from Kim’s new naked photo shoot with the word ‘mom’ earlier this week.
After being asked by a fan on her Tumblr profile if she was trying to ‘slay’ the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star for being a bad role model, the New Zealand-born singer replied: ‘omg haha ok so. time to explain this. i retweeted kim’s amazing cover and wrote ‘MOM’, which among the youthz is a compliment; it basically jokingly means ‘adopt me/be my second mom/i think of you as a mother figure you are so epic’ (sic)’
Lorde also reached out to Kim to clarify her comment through a mutual friend ‘straight away,’ as she didn’t want the brunette beauty to think she was supporting ‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera‘s views that the photographs are inappropriate.
She wrote: ‘(obviously i love my own mama and she is the best tho) but straight after that i think someone else called out the cover saying kim has no right to look that sexy as she is a mother which is TOTAL trash – why should that stop her? (sic)’
Lorde also believes 34-year-old Kim, is getting more beautiful every year.
She wrote: ‘if anything i think she gets even more beautiful and sexy all the time like a finea** wine, and of course has every right to showcase that ‘kim’s cover was pure heaven. so so beautiful (sic).
