Liverpool FC footballer Luis Suarez has been handed a 10-match ban by the Football Association.
Suarez received the ban today Wednesday, April 24, 2013 following his bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic at the weekend.
Suarez, a Uruguayan international has accepted a charge of violent conduct after the incident in the 2-2 Premier League draw at Anfield last Sunday but says the fine shouldn’t be more than a three-match ban.
Last season the 26-year-old served an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.
