Barcelona star, Lionel Messi has become the all-time top scorer in Spanish football history after scoring his 253rd goal in a remarkable 10-year career.
The match played between Barcelona and Sevilla on Saturday, November 22, 2014, saw the Argentine forward record the feat after scoring a hat-trick in the 5 -1 win to surpass former Spanish and Athletic Bibao legend, Telmo Zarra at 251 goals.
Lionel Messi scored the goals in the 21st, 72nd and 78th minute to sit atop Spanish La Liga’s highest goal scorers’ standing.
