Lindsay Lohan who was reportedly due to arrive for duty on Tuesday morning but failed to attend, has finally started her community service to finish the remainder of her sentence at the Duffield Children’s Centre in Brooklyn, New York.
The actress has a mandate to finish before the May 28 deadline or risk going to jail. She tweeted: ‘So happy to be finally helping out all the kids at @WeAreBCS – I just hope that I can make a difference to their lives.’
In addition, the Mean Girls actress managed to sneak in a back entrance to the children’s daycare facility, dodging all the media gathered out front for her arrival. She showed up about 2 hours after she was expected or roughly 90 minutes after most of the kids got there, according to TMZ.
The 28-year old star was ordered to do more hours in February after a Los Angeles judge criticised certain tasks she had counted as part of her punishment for reckless driving in 2012.
