Liberia has unveiled plans to re-open schools next month after months of shutting down the academic calendar.
This is coming out six months after the government ordered schools to be closed because of the dreaded Ebola outbreak that has led to the death of more than 3,400 people in the West African nation.
The rate of new Ebola cases has slowed down in recent weeks in Liberia as the government and international organisations stepped up efforts to stop the spread of the disease in the country.
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf announced at the weekend that schools would re-open on February 2, 2015 but did not specify whether the measure would apply to the entire education system.
