The remains of late Nollywood icon, Amaka Igwe was laid to the ground on Friday, June 13, 2014 in Ndiuche Arondizuogu, Imo State.
The event had in attendance top shots from Nollywood as well as fans friends of the late movie maker.
Notably present were Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha and some of his cabinet members. Actors, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Julius Agwu, Ebele Okaro, Nkem Owoh and Bobby Michael were also present.
Before the burial, late Amaka had been honoured with a tribute evening held at the Haven Gardens G.R.A, Ikeja on Monday, June 9, 2014. This was followed by a service of songs at Okpara Square in Enugu.
Until her death on Monday, April 28, 2014, Amaka owned the BoBTV Film and Television Programmes Expo, Top Radio 90.9FM, Amaka Igwe Studios, and the newly launched Q Entertainment Network.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother and siblings.
