Leading gospel singer, Lara George, has marked her wedding anniversary this year in a unique manner.
The sweet-voiced former member of KUSH, got married to her music enterpreneur husband, Gbenga George back in 2004, announced today through her facebook account that she will be marking hr 10th year anniversary in a unique manner.
Lara, of whom her husband once said, ’to be honest, it was not anything I did; she was just sorry for me. She saw a good guy who really liked her and she decided to bless me with herself,’ has made a song available to her fans and a video to go along with it.
Titled ‘Love Wantintin,’ the song is off her new album, which is now finally on iTunes.
As a member of KUSH, the all-conquering gospel singing group of elarly 200s comprising then Toyin Shokefun (TY Bello), Dapo Torimiro, Lara George and Emem, Lara remains popular for her sonorous soprano voice with which she helped propelled KUSH in songs like ‘Angels’ and the group’s most popular track, ‘Let’s live together.’
