Invasion 1897, the much-talked about film by veteran director, Lancelot Imasuen has been scheduled to tour 4 American states from next month.
The award winning epic movie, based on historical events in the Benin Empire in the 18th century, premiered on August 27, 2014 at the Toronto African Film & Music Festival and will begin its tour of the United States in Chicago on August 8.
It will move to Boston on August 16 and Atlanta and New York on August 21 and August 23 respectively. The movie stars Mike Omoregbe, Segun Arinze, Rudolph Walker, Charles Inojie, Paul Obazele, Justus Esiri, Charles ‘Chucky’ Venn, Leo Mezie and others.
