Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola’s Twitter account has been verified.
Fashola is the first Nigerian governor on the micro-blogging site to receive the blue verification stamp. The Ekiti State Government’s Twitter account was however verified a few months ago.
Twitter started verifying Nigerian-owned Twitter accounts this year, starting with celebrities including actress Genevieve Nnaji, model Oluchi Orlandi, singers Nneka and Asa, and footballer Osaze Odemwinge.

This is good a governance where one can meet with the governor of the state indeed a good governance.
