The Economist Intelligence Unit, according to the BBC has placed Nigeria’s economic capital, Lagos as the third worst place in the world to live in.
The report says the worst city is Dhaka- Bangladesh followed by Port Moresby- Papua in New Guinea; then Lagos- Nigeria, ranking 138th of 140 cities surveyed for worst living conditions.
The reports also identified Melbourne, Australia as the best liveable city followed by Vienna- Austria and Vancouver-Canada.
Nigerians however seems to disagree with this assessment, and the Lagos state government has condemned the ranking.
Lagos ranked 3rd least habitable place on earth

The Economist Intelligence Unit, according to the BBC are terrible raters, why would they rate lagos with past season, since the inception of fashola he has really tried alot…even tho more is needed to be done, the man as really transform alot of places… and mindsets…
let them keep their rating to their self and pocket we dont need it
That is F9 for Fashola and ACN, full stop!
That is clear F9 for Fashola and ACN
While the full details by which this rating was done is not obvious, it is some sort of injustice to the impact Fashola has made in Lagos. Having said that, the worst injustice here and most unpatriotic is the picture above posted by the editor of this write up which in my opinion is actually a lie and misleading. The above picture is Oshodi, and this was what it was like before the advent of Fashola. I would expected the picture of Oshodi as is presently to have been used. Fashola took care of the chaos in Oshodi. Please give him credit, as he is managing, and pretty well too a very bad situation. Our jurnalist should please tell absolute truth. The wrong imagery above actually justifies the write up. Why lie?
