Kenny Saint-Best is one of the Nigerian showbiz stars eyeing politics come 2015 and the singer cum politician held a public declaration event for her political agenda today, October 2, 2014.
The event, held at Forks and Fingers Restaurant Opebi, Lagos, not far from her residence, had in attendance members of the APC Ward leaders and youth leaders such as Mrs Funmi Alade, Ward D women leader; Toyin Isiaka, Ward E women leader; Comrade Yemi Oluremi, Ward B youth Leader; Adekunle Disu, a Lagos governorship aspirant and many others.
The event, which was hosted by music star, Essence, saw KSB officially announce the launch of her new website www.ksbpolitics.com. The gospel singer also stated her resolve to make a change in the life of the youth in her constituency as well as contribute to the welfare of single mothers and widows.
‘I want to do so much for my people, the Ogungbe family has contributed hugely to the growth of Nigerian music industry and today we can be proud of it.
‘I really want to empower our youth and not just by organizing boring seminars, but by practical ways, our women also need help, women need to empowered and have support for their business and families.’
Her elder brother, Idowu Ogungbe and her twin brother, Taiwo Ogungbe were all present at the event.
