It was a mouthwatering adventure, with nothing short of pure drama as the fiercest battle raged in episode 13 of the Knorr Taste Quest. The first shocker came when, at the beginning of the task, Dr Roberts informed the 7 remaining contestants that not one, but three of them will be evicted by the end of the episode.
The tasks were divided into 3 segments. In the first part, the contestants were given the following ingredients: Moi moi leaves, Beans, Peppers, Tomatoes, Cheese, Onions and Avocado to make a starter in 40 minutes. The second task was the preparation of the main course with the following ingredients: Jumbo prawns, Zucchini, Plantain, Aubergines, Seedless cucumber, Sweet potato, White radish, Green peppers and Carrots Melon seeds (Egusi), and they had 50 minutes to achieve this. For the third and final task for the day, the contestants were required to prepare a dessert using Mango, Plums, Pear, Rum, Pecan, Lemon, Knorr classic, Butter and White chocolate in just 35 minutes.
After the action packed cooking sessions, Bode emerged the winner of the starter task while Moses got evicted, Nwando won the Main course task while Ojo was evicted, and again Nwando won the dessert task while Doom was evicted.
Hot has gotten extremely hot!!! This makes the top four going into the finals: Nwando, Olabode, Dixon and Popoola.
