Kim Kardashian is the second most popular celebrity on Instagram, after Beyoncé but her popularity has not translated into good figures in terms of sales for her book.
Kim decided to sell her self-portraits in book form titled Selfish but her fans don’t seem ready to fork out $9.97 for the privilege of flipping through the self-portraits scattered across the online community.
According to reports, Selfish has only sold a paltry 32k copies since it was released three months ago on May 5.
However, the coffee table book is a #1 bestseller in the very niche category of ‘celebrity photography’ on Amazon. She beat publications by Dita Von Teese and Derek Jeter on Amazon to be the #1 bestseller as but ranked at 2,075 in books overall by the online retailer.
