Controversial Kenyan dancehall/reggae star, Blaqy has been declared wanted by the Central Police Station in Nairobi for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Sonai Magamu.
According to reports, Sonia recorded a statement at the station accusing the dancehall singer of assault and stealing her cash.
‘It all started at I-Club where he was involved in a fight with some other guys, we kept arguing in his car on our way to his house in Umoja and he hit me in the face,’ she said.
Sonia also accused Blaqy of transferring Sh 36, 500 from her account to his own before hitting her and also chased her out of their rented apartment in Innercore afterwards.
‘He took my phone and transferred Sh36,500 from my account to his, before hitting me again and chasing me.’
If the allegations turn out to be true, it would be a sore point in the career of Blaqy, who is popularly known for his raunchy video, ‘Money Maker’ which was released in 2014.
