Controversial Kenyan model, Pendo has made it clear she does not want to be addressed her as a socialite anymore. This comes after the singer, who recently released her debut music video for the song, Sometimes, says she is stepping out of the shadow of her scandalous past.
Labelled as the young woman who allegedly slept with Nigerian pop star, Davido in 2013, Pendo now only wants to be seen as an entertainer going forward.
‘I have been in the studio since the beginning of the year recording my new music and I have cut a whole different image, I wish I could erase the past, she said.
Speaking further, Pendo, whose real name is Staciey Brianar, added: ‘I am not a socialite, dare you call me that.’
One of several female Kenyan celebrities who bear the tag of socialites because of their their raunchy and controversial lifestyles, Pendo says she is now all out to revive her music career.
