University of Calabar students turned out en masse evening at the Theatre Arts Centre on the school campus for the open screening of the thrilling British-Nigerian production titled Gone too Far.
Nollywood actress and House of Representatives hopeful, Kate Henshaw had the students cheering and hustling to get a close look at her in person, as she and fellow Nollywood star, Rita Dominic turned out for the screening of the movie which premiered in England last year.
A Bola Agbaje Production directed by Destiny Ekaragha, Gone too Far is a film about the unnecessary racial squabbles and animosity targeted at most Africans in the United Kingdom and indeed the world over.
Starring O.C Ukeje and a cast from the Afro-British circle as well as foreign actors, the film is about a London teenager whose big brother (O.C Ukeje) comes to live with the family from Nigeria. His brother’s terrible sense of fashion, broad Yoruba accent and misplaced confidence with the opposite sex threatens to destroy his already small amount of street credibility.
