The Oyo State chapter of the Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN) has elected new officers to direct its affairs for the next two years.
The election, which took place in Kajola Local Government, involved all registered members of the association in the state under the supervision of the National Executive Council led by Ayo Balogun and the Board of Trustees led by Sir Shina Peters.
Dr Segun Awolowo emerged chairman at the conclusion of the exercise while Bello Muniru Adetunji came in as vice chairman just as Seyi Adegoke was voted in as secretary among others.
Dr Awolowo, in his acceptance speech, promised on behalf of other executives, to take the association to the next level.
The Assistant National Secretary General and National Secretary General of the association, Tayo Akintunde and Dipo Onafowokan Gators were at the venue of the election as observers.
