Johnny Depp has admitted a hole in his jeans proved problematic because his ‘general approach’ is to not wear any underwear.
The 50-year-old star revealed he found a hole in his jeans and had to patch them up with duct tape because he doesn’t often wear underwear.
Asked if he likes to go commando, he replied: ‘That’s the general approach. And so, yeah, I just immediately looked for duct tape. And then I continue to wear them.’
The ‘Lone Ranger’ actor discovered the unfortunate tear in his pants when he was going to see his son Jack in a school performance and quickly realised the awkwardness of his predicament.
He explained: ‘I realised one morning as I was going to a thing my boy had at school – one of those things where they get up and sing a song – I had to be there at a certain time, and of course, I was running late and I was reaching back to check and see if I had my wallet and passport and stuff’.
‘I always have a passport for some reason … And so I reached back and I thought, ‘Jesus Christ!’ There was this really long tear – and there were no undergarments involved!’
