Nigerian singer/rapper/producer JJC a.k.a Skillz has officially moved back to Nigeria to once again pursue and try to dominate a fiercely growing music industry. He told Nigerian Entertainment Today in a chat last week.
JJC who returned to Nigeria about two weeks ago says it is a permanent move as he plans to establish his music and entertainment company in the country, a thing he has being trying to accomplish for some years now.
‘It is a permanent move but I will fly back once in a while to because of my family in the UK and US’, JJC tells NET. Speaking on setting up his BigBoyz Entertainment outfit here in the country, Mr. Skillz says BigBoyz has got to the top of its game in the UK and the next step is to come home. ‘Plus the request for the BigBoyz services in the entertainment industry has more relevance at home’.
JJC currently resides in an apartment in Ikeja, Lagos and is working on a repackaged version of his ‘African Dream’ album which was first released in the UK.
Born Abdul Bello in Kano, Nigeria JJC first travelled to the UK at the age of 14. He soon delved into hip-hop music and has produced singles for UK pop acts such as Liberty X, Lemar and Big Brovaz. His own production company, Backbone Music gave birth to the careers of the likes of super start pop act Dbanj, Kween and M.P.
