Jessie J wants to release a Christmas album.
The ‘Keep Us Together’ singer says it’s on her ‘wish list’ to record a festive LP but she wouldn’t want to just record a collection of covers, she wants to write new Yuletide classics.
She told BANG Showbiz: ‘I would love to do a Christmas album it’s one of the things on my wish list. But I want to write some new classic Christmas songs, I don’t want to just sing ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer’.’
Jessie insists one of the best things about having a big Christmas hit is that you make lots of money from it every single year.
She explained: ‘During the Christmas period, if you wrote ‘Winter Wonderland’, its brilliant. That’s where the money is, songwriting.’
