Jay-Z has gone ahead to break yet another record. The business mogul is now not only the richest person in Hip-hop history, he has also become the first hip-hop artist to become a billionaire.
The position of the richest hip-hop mogul used to belong to P-Diddy but the Bad Boy Records founder has now dropped to the second richest hip-hop mogul in the world with $825 million.

Asides from his large share in the champagne business, he also has another $100 million in the alcohol business in D’Ussé cognac. The mogul also has other businesses including a $70 million stake in Uber.

His least amount of investments appear to be his $70 million invested in his art collection and the other $50 million that he has invested in real estate.
Jay-Z and his wife – Beyonce – and their three kids still own about $120.85 million in other real estate. The billionaire rapper doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down anytime soon and he’ll likely not give up the top position as the richest man in hip-hop anytime soon.
