Jay Z and Beyoncé have splashed out $2.6 million on a new home in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The couple reportedly purchased an historic seven-bedroom, eight bathroom property, which used to be the Westminster Presbyterian Church, in the city’s upmarket Garden District, according to E! News.
The Spanish Baroque estate was built in 1925 and features an open-concept design, with three separate apartments.
The 13,292 square-feet abode, which spans three floors, also boasts a luxurious master suite with an antique claw-foot bathtub and the biggest green rooftop deck in the city.
News that the duo, who recently moved from New York City to Los Angeles, have bought their own place in the city comes as no surprise, as Beyoncé’s younger sister, 28-year old Solange Knowles, has lived there part-time with her 10-year-old son, Julez, since 2013.
