Nigerian designer Ituen Basi is set to launch her latest collection at Temple Muse.
The ‘Afara’ collection, to be launched on Saturday, May 26, 2012, features playful pieces in denim and linen, as well as Ankara prints in various designs, ranging from pencil and prom skirts inspired by the 50’s, to the miniskirts of the 60’s, pleats of the 80’s and the minimalism of the 90’s .
The three year-old Label has showcased at different fashion weeks including the recently held Arise Magazine Fashion Week in Lagos.
Ituen Basi, who was awarded ‘Most Creative Designer’ at the 2011 Arise Magazine Fashion Week, is also popular for creating various looks including the Saturday night fever, Thunderbird, Village head master and many more.
