Kafayat Shafau, Nigeria’s top dancer-choreographer better known as Kaffy has taken delivery of a baby boy.
Kaffy who is a dance routine instructor at the MTN Project Fame West Africa reality show took delivery of the child yesterday morning, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at County Hospital, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.
During her ‘nine month course’, the dancer still carried on with her job as a choreographer as she performed at several events including the Psquare ‘The Invasion‘ Album concert, The Headiesas well as her work as dance instructor on the recently concluded PFWA season 4.
Our reporters paid Kaffy a visit at the County Hospital, Ogba but met her sleeping and orders had been laid not to disturb her. ‘She’s doing well, she had a safe delivery. She just needs to rest, she won’t be speaking with anyone for now’, her close friend Ruth who was the only one in the room with her told NET.
In July, the entertainer announced she was four months pregnant and will be getting married to Joseph Ameh (a drummer with Psquare‘s band) in October. The wedding is yet to hold.
