With Ikechukwu already in bed with Mohits records, and rising rapper Sauce Kid openly flirting with the entire Mohits camp, is Storm Records about to lose its second talent to a younger and more aggressive rival?
That’s the question no one appears to have answers to at the moment.
Both parties say there’s no cause for alarm. But insiders are saying just like it was with Ikechukwu, there’s more to the Sauce Kid – Mohits romance than meet the eyes.
Mohits is home to D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr. SID, Ikechukwu, D’Prince, Kayswitch and Don Jazzy.
Sources say Sauce kid (who was signed to Q-Beats entertainment before recently moving to Storm) has been spending time with the Mo’hits crew, regularly hibernating in D’banj and Don Jazzy’s home in Lagos, and enjoying Jazzy’s production services. His new video titled ‘under G’ features Mo’hits head-honcho Don Jazzy.
The rapper came to prominence in 2008 on the song “Yebariba Samboribobo” off the mixtape “Moneylong: The Mixtape Best of both worlds”. He had recorded a minor hit earlier with the Mike Okri-assisted Omoge. Since the success of both singles, and a warm reception by the Nigerian audience, he has hugged the limelight, shuttling between Nigeria and the US and emerging as one of Nigeria’s most promising hip hop stars.
When NET tried to inquire about the speculations, the young rapper proved evasive, throwing back questions and speaking in rhetoric. ‘‘Can u join opposite sides of magnet together?’’ he asked whether he was indeed leaving Storm for Mohits.

It will be okay by me if the sauce kid joins the mo hits crew.
Sauce kid has lost his prominence since he failed to release a follow up hit to his yebaribaba blab,he flirting with mo hits is just logical.he gets the chance to rub shoulders with his mates in Mohits and the swagg in Mohits cant be compared to storm which parades old and out of fashion producers in d form of Olisa n co.Its obvious every artiste in Storm is struggling and Ik made d best move to Mohits and i hope Gen. Pype especially will leave Storm to a better label like Kenins which is the only authentic and professional music label.Sauce kid is not a crowd puller so his record label choice is important ,but like other returnee artiste they are all out to catch trips and go to awards to party and careless about the money like ma hard working brova Terry G who is working harder than the Storm record rich BRATS
o boy nor try am u dey hear mb no think am say u go join mohits
whatever!!!
It's a matter of choice,if he decides 2 join Mo'hit or not.I think he knows wat's best 4 him.
he could join mohits if he likes, that's his choice …It's obvious that is what he's gonna do…IMAO, the next time I hear people like Olu say Kennis is a good label, hmmmm, heads are gonna roll…
Sauce Kid can still pull crowd if only he can get good producer like Don Baba J and Swagger master himself Terry 2 D G.let him go to Mohit i think he know what he is looking 4.
