Miley Cyrus has hinted she is heart broken. The ‘Wrecking ball’ hitmaker – who split from fiance Liam Hemsworth a year ago – posted a picture of a crying alien surrounded by thought bubbles, entitled ‘early a.m. drawin’, on her Instagram account, and the surrounding text appeared to suggest she is mourning a lost love.
The thought bubbles make numerous references to a failed relationship, with messages like, ‘I must go. I will miss yiew (sic)’ and ‘why does love make me cry’.
The singer also asks, ‘Will I ever be happy again’ and ‘Gravity has nothing to do with me falling for you’.
Miley followed up the eye-catching images with another drawing of an alien, though this one made no references to love and is instead just seen blowing bubbles.
Earlier this month, Billy Ray Cyrus – Miley’s father – warned his daughter about becoming a ‘bitter ole man’.
Miley posted a screen shot of a conversation she had with the 53-year-old country music singer.
The message from her father read: ‘You are crazy to be down. You are one of the luckiest people in the world right now. ENJOY IT!
‘Don’t be like me and miss it all worrying about s**t beyond control ALL the time.
‘That would make you a bitter ole man and that’s not cool’ (sic).’
