Where do I start? I am still trying to adjust to the musical madness a certain female artiste called Lady Gaga. Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, just months after her third studio release, she has five Grammy Awards, two Guinness World Records and the estimated sale of fifteen million albums and fifty-one million singles worldwide.
On her second studio work ‘The Fame Monster’ Gaga featured Beyonce on a single ‘Telephone’ and Beyonce repaid the favour on her album ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’, a track titled ‘Video phone’. It seems like Beyonce has caught the bug…The gaga bug that is…
Gaga has successfully managed to captivate all and sundry with the weird way of presenting her art – out-of-the world videos, eye-popping clothes, and lyrics filled with blasphemy. Many have rebuked her singing style and persona but shockingly she has gained massive followers on social networking sites, sold millions of albums and grabbed multiple awards.
Beyonce might have been looking at Lady Gaga from a lonely corner as it’s now apparent she also wants to tap into the latter’s market. So she adopts the same methods and ‘freaky’ style on this new promo video and here you have it….
Just a few hours ago, she premiered her latest video ‘Run the world (Girls)’; a ‘girl power’ inspired single…it reeks of the ‘Gaga concept’…watch below and share your thoughts..

You’ve lost your mind. Beyonce is a living legend and an ICON by her own self defined image. How can you be so narrow minded to think when an artist decides to try something different for themselves… It automatically means they are trying to be like lady gaga. I understand that Lady GaGa’s desperate antics of doing everything possible under the sun to cry for attention. Whether it be eat an apple while sitting on an egg plant, to strolling the red carpet in an ‘egg’, to wearing pork chops at the VMA’s, next it’ll be feeding iguanas fruit loops. I get it. She thinks of the most random stupid shit to do.. so to a dazed GaGa fan… you actually think she created everything under the sun! Poor Child. When we do look at the ‘wild’ things she has done, but when she still resembles a human, it mirrors Maddonna, bowie – among others. Study your pop history. GaGa is borrows from all the greats. Which is not really a bad thing. Most stars today borrow from the old. But Beyonce doing anything like Lady GaGa? You need your head examined. You can’t be THAT simple.
