August 13 every year is commemorated as World left-handers day. A school of thought believes that left-handers are more intelligent.
Meanwhile in Nigeria, there are a lot of superstitions around being left-handed and sometimes those who are seen to be rude, especially when they try to receive or hand out something to an older person.
