Actress and UN Youth Envoy, Ini Edo will be joining a six-member panel tomorrow at MTN ‘Drug Convos’ to discuss drug abuse.
The webinar titled ‘Better knowledge for better care: An ally against drug abuse’ will hold at 1:30 pm and feature professional and personal stories about drug and substance abuse.
MTN Nigeria is partnering with Netng; music channel, MTV Base; Business Day and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), to host the no-holds-barred virtual conversation about substance abuse among Nigerian youths. The event will commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Ini Edo will join colleague, Dakore Egbuson; the Executive Secretary, MTN Foundation, Odunayo Sanya; Country Manager, ViacomCBS Networks Africa, Bada Akintunde-Johnson; Country Representative of UNODC, Oliver Stolpe; Bada Akintunde-Johnson – ViacomCBS; and Director-General of Christ Against Drug Abuse Ministry (CADAM) Dr Adedokun Adedeji, as they discuss illicit drug use and how to stop the war it wages against Nigerian youths.
The event is focused on creating a platform where young Nigerians will be able to actively participate and contribute to in-depth conversations about substance abuse and addiction and hear from professionals who can support them.
