While speaking on the next general elections, the first part of which is billed to hold on Saturday, March 28, 2015, US-based athlete was quoted by Thisday Live as saying: ‘I am a die-hard fan of His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, he has inspired me so much and I appreciate everything and the changes he brought into Nigerian sports.’
Although standing firm in her belief that the campaign team of Jonathan erred in using her image and footage without seeking her permission, the athelete spoke about why she supports the President.
‘Jonathan has really encouraged all sports men and women since he came into power. Even the opposition parties can testify to it. President Jonathan has given hope to a lot of sports men and women including myself. He had shaped and appreciated success at the highest level. With him, I see a very bright future in Nigerian sports,’ she added.
