The final match of the Club World Cup tournament between San Lorenzo and Real Madrid on Saturday, December 20, 2014 saw the Spanish goalkeeper made his successful 700th appearance in the 2 – o win.
Highly regarded as the most iconic captain of the team of his era, Iker Casillas was presented with a commemorative jersey bearing the number, 700 after the match by club officials.
