Tope Tedela, one of the movie industry’s emerging stars, has said he has no problem marrying an actress, not just in this life but even in the next.
Speaking in a recent interview with Tribune, Tope said: ‘At the moment, my career is my sole focus. But like someone asked me the other day, I have no issues marrying anywhere or anybody. I will marry an actress in this life and in the next life. It’s not necessarily about the profession but about the person. If I find an actress who I think we are compatible and we can live together for the rest of our lives, I will definitely get married to her. Right now I am just focusing in my career.’
Tope’s foray into professional acting began with being cast as Julian on popular TV drama, Edge of Paradise directed by Greg Odutayo while attending the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He went on to feature in Twisted, a film directed by Niyi Towolawi and become a notable face in Nollywood in the last few years.
His portrayal of Lala in the drama, A Mile From Home won him the Best Actor In A Drama award at the second Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) held in March 2014.
