Speaking recently on her mid – morning show on Oman FM, the media personality told her listeners live on radio how things eventually turned around for good after recounting her tough challenges.
‘I only knew two things; that I was broke as hell and one day I will be very successful.
‘There was a time I had to cut off all my hair because I couldn’t afford a cream to perm it, I sometimes didn’t even have money to buy new panties or sanitary pad and had to live with and depend on some friends,’ she said.
The host, visibly emotional while recounting the days of penury, said she is one of the most popular names in the Ghanaian entertainment setting as well as one of the biggest brands today.
‘But look at me now, I own one of the highly patronised mackerel brands (Delay),’ she said.
