I remain a PDP member – RMD

Yesterday, it was insinuated on social media that Nollywood icon and politician, Richard Mofe Damijo has defected from his party, PDP to APC in the aftermath of the 2015 presidential election won by the APC.

The news of RMD’s alleged party switch is believed to have been fuelled by APC governorship candidate in Delta State, O’tega Emerhor.

However, RMD has come out to clarify the issue. While confirming that he held a meeting with O’tega Emerhor, he denied decamping from PDP to APC.

RMD is the current Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State.
