Veteran actress, Joke Silva has expressed her joy at being listed among those to be honoured with the 2013/2014 edition of the National Honours Award.
Joke, who is among the three movie practitioners on the list, said she has since been getting congratulatory messages from various people.
‘I feel highly honoured by the MFR. It’s been lovely getting the congratulatory messages even from the people I haven’t seen or heard from in a while,’ she said in a message to Nigerian Entertainment Today.
Joke Silva will be awarded alongside Time Magazine acclaimed Nollywood queen, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and pioneer movie producer, Kenneth Nnebue.
The conferment ceremony will hold on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
