Black Stars of Ghana captain and Al Ain striker, Asamoah Gyan has revealed he spends a significant portion of his resting time watching bouts involving American professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather.
Speaking on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at a press conference pleading to Ghanaians to turn out on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Accra Sports Stadium for a WBA Intercontinental Lightweight contest between Ghanaian boxer, Emamanuel Clottey and Tanzanian boxer, Sidicki Momba, the former Sunderland striker disclosed his passion for Floyd Mayweather and and Ghana’s professional boxer, Joshua Clottey.
‘I am a big fan of Floyd Mayweather and Joshua Clottey,’ Gyan said, who currently plays for Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates and was recently named Asia’s Best Foreign Player for 2014, said.
