A celebrity personal bodyguard who has worked with at least two Nigerian music stars, William Egbo is dead. Fondly known as ‘Big Willie’, the man was declared dead on Friday, June 5, 2015 after a brief illness.
Before his untimely death, ‘Big Willie’ worked as M.I Abaga‘s bodyguard before leaving the Choc City boss about 6 months ago. Upon leaving the side of the Choc City rapper, he went on to become Wande Coal‘s bodyguard as well.
NET exclusively gathered that he’s just resolved a lingering issue with M.I Abaga and was supposed to resume duties with him this month, a move aborted by his sudden death. Late William Egbo was from Delta State and was a student of the Ado Bayero University in Kano.
