If you are a man about town in the city of Lagos then you’ll know Quilox Night Club located on 873 Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Owned by Shina Peller, one of the sons of the late flamboyant magician, Professor Peller, Quilox is one of the few purpose-built nightclub facilities in Lagos, apart from the Niteshift Coliseum.
Quilox sits on multiple plots of land with its impeccable design and finishing complemented with stunning and first of its kind décor and lighting, world class customer service and hospitality, renowned DJs and an over the roof sound system that pundits say is the first in this market.
All these and more puts the value of Quilox at over N1 billion. This is according to Shina Peller himself when the club was launched in 2013.

The estimate covers the cost of the property, situated on highbrow Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, the internal club structure, fittings and assets. According to Shina, acquisition of the multi plots of land for the night club and building took over two years.
Going by the consistency over the last four years, Quilox has hosted the biggest parties and biggest celebrities and conveniently earned itself the title of the biggest club in Nigeria at the moment.
Currently in season four, Quilox is about the only night club that goes on a one-month break every year to re-package, re-structure and re-invent.
Quilox has also had its fair share of controversies and media attention.
On December 20, 2014, during the first year anniversary celebration of the night club, fire razed the left section of the building and the bush bar and party goers in the club who were busy having fun had to be immediately evacuated.
On Sunday, March 1, 2015, Nigerians woke up to M.I Abaga’s angry Twitter rant directed at Quilox. The rapper claimed that the club disrespected him and his brand and he even went as far as calling for the sack of the manager on duty last night.
Quilox was also the location where the infamous fight between pop stars, Wizkid and Dammy Krane went down in January 2016.
And we can’t forget how Twitter went bonkers in 2015 when Lagos Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode was reportedly a VIP guest at the prestigious night club.
At the moment, it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk of night clubs and night life in Nigeria without the mention of Quilox and Shina Peller!
