The 2015 edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards has come and gone but among the biggest highlights of the night was how Nigerian musicians dominated the awards.
Apart from stunning on the red carpet, Nigerian acts also won most awards by winning in 8 of the 17 categories while the host country, South Africa went away with 5 wins.
Psquare walked away with 2 awards (Best Group and Artistes of the decade), Mavin crew won the Best Song award while Davido emerged as Best Male. Others include D’banj who emerged MAMA evolution winner as Yemi Alade won Best Female while Dancehall act, Patoranking won Best New act.
For his collaboration with AKA on the track, ‘All Eyes On Me’ which also features Da LES & JR, Burna Boy also had his name on the Best Collaboration award.
