If you remember the then hit single, ‘Love Me Jeje’ by U.S based Nigerian musician, Seyi Sodimu , you will definitely recognize Shaffy Bello. She is the charming lady who did the hook and the well delivered chorus of the popular song, which became a 90s anthem.
Shaffy has however metamorphosed into a sought-after actress, launching her career in producer, Saidi Balogun’s award winning movie Eti Keta.
Since her role in Eti Keta, she has featured in ‘Beneficence’ and ‘When Love Happens’. She has also featured in a stage play, ‘The Gods are not to blame’ as well as TV soap, Tinsel.
Shaffy Bello is still based in the U.S where her family lives.
Shaffy started her entertainment journey while she was in the college, after she realised she could sing. She came into the spotlight when she featured on her cousin’s, Seyi Sodimu’ song.
The mother of two later went into Gospel/ Inspiration music, releasing her debut album in 2006. She was off the scene for many years , before she resurfaced as an actress.
