After winning the Best Female Vocal Performance for the past four years consecutively, Ghanaian afro pop singer, Efya saw her winning streak come to an end at the 2015 edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
Efya lost this year’s award to Wiyaala who is rated currently as one of the best Pop stars in Ghana. Wiyaala, billed to perform at the 89th birthday of the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the British High Commission in Ghana, scooped the award ahead of other rivals including Becca, Raquel, Jael Wiafe and MzVee with her hit smashing hit song, ‘Tinambanyi’.
The awards ceremony took place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Ghana on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
